OpenAI Codex Washed Charcoal Cap

Rate this hat
Now you know what I think, what do you think?
A washed charcoal dad cap with the Codex terminal mark in white: low-key developer merch with an unusually good finish.
The washed finish gives this cap more character than the usual black conference giveaway. A small white Codex mark sits slightly left of centre, leaving the fabric and curved brim to do most of the work.
Why it works
Charcoal softens the contrast while the crisp embroidery keeps the mark legible. The unstructured shape, tonal stitching and already-worn-in colour make it look like a cap someone chose, not one they collected from a booth.
The no-cap take
Codex branding could have become painfully literal. Keeping it to one compact terminal mark makes the reference clear to developers and nearly invisible to everyone else.
