Cognition Double Black Cap

Rate this hat
Now you know what I think, what do you think?
A black Cognition dad cap with a tonal black logo: understated merch from the company behind Devin.
The logo does not announce itself. Black embroidery sits on a black crown, leaving texture and reflected light to reveal Cognition’s dot mark against the curved front panels.
Cognition is building towards autonomous software engineering with Devin. For a company asking agents to take on more of the work, its cap does surprisingly little announcing.
Why it works
This is the rare company cap that commits to being quiet. The curved brim, tonal stitching and low-contrast mark make it easy to wear, while the raised embroidery gives insiders just enough to recognise at close range.
The no-cap take
Double-black merch can look like the printer ran out of ink. Here, the difference in texture keeps the mark visible without breaking the monochrome idea. Everyone else sees a good black cap; the people who know, know.
